Remote Monitoring System monitoring via the X-Cloud & SolaX Portal

WiFi Monitoring Via The ‘X Cloud’

x-3g

All SolaX inverters include WiFi monitoring as standard (excluding the X1 Smart and Mini range).

How It Works:
  1. Our Inverters upload operational data to the Xcloud* via WiFi.
  2. Xcloud collects and processes that data every 30 seconds.
  3. You can then monitor the data by simply logging into a registered account via your PC, iPhone or Android device.

Direct cable connectivity is currently under development and will be rolled out with the next generation of X1 inverters.  Currently, remote monitoring is only available using WiFi.

PLEASE NOTE: There are now two different monitoring platforms offered by SolaX.  All X1 and X3 inverters (and generation 1 Hybrid inverters), use the Solarman system for online monitoring.  For those with a generation 1 Hybrid who are unsure of which platform to use, please refer to the SSID of the WiFi signal broadcast by the inverter (or refer to the datalogger serial number).  If the SSID looks like this: AP_6XXXXXXX – then you are using the SOLARMAN platform.  If however the SSID looks like this: SolaX_XXXXXX – then you are using the SOLAX platform.

There are two stages required for the set up of monitoring via the X-cloud. In the first instance, the PV installer should connect the customer’s inverter to the local wi-fi network so that data is transmitted to the cloud.  This is a straight forward process as explained in the following guides:
